Civil Legal Services Clinic

2026-2027 Student Clinic Director: Emma Bond

I was born and raised in Phillipsburg, New Jersey. I moved to Colorado to get my undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado Boulder.

After graduating from college, I worked as a paralegal at a general practice firm in Loveland, Colorado. While working as a paralegal I worked on a breach of contract case involving a full home remodel. I was heavily involved in the discovery process and was drawn to the challenge of piecing together a case through careful attention to detail. This case was the deciding factor for me to ultimately pursue law school.

I chose to attend the University of Wyoming College of Law because of the wide range of opportunities it offers to all students, including its experiential learning opportunities.

I started in the Civil Legal Services Clinic as a 2L Legal Assistant. My experience in the clinic has allowed me to develop my practical skills as an attorney through actual representation of clients. I hope to continue providing effective legal services to those in need all throughout Wyoming.

After graduating, I plan to move back to Colorado to begin my professional career.
