David Brown, NNLM Regional Medical Librarian
Biography:
Dr. David M Brown is the Public Health Engagement Specialist and State Outreach Specialist
for North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming for the Network of the National Library
of Medicine (NNLM), Region 4. Before joining the University of Wyoming and the NNLM,
he worked as a professor of Public Health, teaching MPH and Dr. PH students. He has
served in many leadership roles within professional associations and professional
journals.
Dr. Brown’s scholarship has resulted in over 30 peer-reviewed publications, book chapters
and other reviewed documents. He has presented at over 75 local, state, national and
international conferences in the areas of school-based health education, health literacy,
health research methods and educational methods.
