Sammy Peter
Chair, Research & Outreach Services

Sammy is the Chair of Research & Outreach Services and Assessment Librarian. In this role she serves as the liaison for the College of Education and History and Religious Studies. She is the coordinator of UW Libraries assessment efforts across all departments.
Sammy’s research focus on disability within libraries including Universal Design for Learning in the classroom and workplace, experiences of librarians with invisible disabilities, and more.
Outside of work you can often find Sammy outside, she enjoys hiking, gardening, playing with her dogs, and many farm animals including chickens, ducks, turkeys, and more.
