Planned Giving:

The UW Foundation's gift planning staff assists donors in integrating charitable gifts into their financial, tax, and estate-planning objectives, maximizing benefits to both donors and the university. If you are considering UW in your estate plans, contact Associate Vice President for Development, Brett Befus at 307-766-4259, or via email.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to decreased staffing and a backlog of unprocessed collections, we regret that we cannot accept in-kind donations of books or collections at this time. We anticipate accepting book donations again after June 2023. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Please contact us with questions at

Inquiries for donating books or other library materials to UW Libraries should be made by contacting Resource Discovery & Management via email.
Materials should be clean and in good condition. Accepted in-kind donations are acquired with the understanding that materials become UW Libraries' property once received.
