Accessing Materials from a Distance & ONLINE

University of Wyoming students have 24-hour access to online resources both on and off-campus. The Libraries' Research Guides are tailored to help you find resources for specific subjects and classes. Students can also access the Libraries' extensive collection of databases and materials via QuickSearch or Research Databases for scholarly sources.

The free Libby app provides access to other eMaterials from UW Libraries and all Wyoming state libraries.

UW students can request access to materials through the Interlibrary Loan (ILL) service. ILL allows UW students, faculty, and staff to request books, journal articles, media, and other materials regardless of where it is available.

Online and Distance students may have physical materials like books or DVDs mailed to their house with a free return label or have e-materials emailed to them in PDF format.
