About Dr. Zhong

Ping Zhong joined the University of Wyoming faculty in 2018. He came to the University of Wyoming from the University of Waterloo, Canada, where he was a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Pure Mathematics. 

His research interests are (free) probability theory, operator algebras, and quantum information theory. Recently, he is also interested in applications of random matrix theory and free probability theory for statistics.
