UW MBA Male Student with Other Students in Background

International MBA

In conjunction with Pforzheim University, we offer a joint degree International MBA Program.  Participating students will receive an MBA from Pforzheim University as well as an MBA from the University of Wyoming.  Students will spend their first year in Laramie, WY completing the core curriculum, the summer experiential project, and the experiential leadership course. They will then spend their second year in Pforzheim, Germany completing coursework.

This degree program does require a thesis.

Prerequisites:

  • Students must have completed at least 2 years of work experience (full-time equivalent) after graduation from their bachelor's degree.

  • Students must have passed the GMAT examination with a minimum grade of 500.

  • Students must have successfully completed three (3) semesters of the MBA program (Fall, Spring, Summer) in Wyoming before entering the double degree program.

Pre-Term Expectations

Students will be required to take a pre-term assessment to determine their proficiency in quantitatively-based subjects. Deficiencies in these subject areas will require completion of a short foundational course (approximately 20 hours of time required to complete each course). Addressing potential deficiencies prior to beginning the MBA core curriculum will ensure that all students are equipped for success in their subsequent studies.

Students will also participate in a one to two-week team building orientation prior to the start of their fall coursework.
