In conjunction with Pforzheim University, we offer a joint degree International MBA Program. Participating students will receive an MBA from Pforzheim University as well as an MBA from the University of Wyoming. Students will spend their first year in Laramie, WY completing the core curriculum, the summer experiential project, and the experiential leadership course. They will then spend their second year in Pforzheim, Germany completing coursework.
This degree program does require a thesis.
Prerequisites:
Students must have completed at least 2 years of work experience (full-time equivalent) after graduation from their bachelor's degree.
Students must have passed the GMAT examination with a minimum grade of 500.
Students must have successfully completed all requirements of the Wyoming MBA program before entering the double degree program with Pforzheim.
Students admitted to the 1-Year Early Career MBA and any of the full-time dual degree programs will complete the following core curriculum courses:

Study abroad period:
The mandatory study abroad period will be during the winter semester in Pforzheim (late September – end of February). The thesis period from March until June may also be spent in Pforzheim.
All courses will be taught in English.
During their stay participants would be required to:
Take 32 ECTS credits in the winter semester and an additional 8 credits from Pforzheim’s fourth semester in February.
Take an additional course in German as a foreign language for one semester at Pforzheim. The language course counts for 3 ECTS.
Completion of the study program and thesis:
After the study abroad the students will have to take one more semester in Pforzheim or at their home institution for the thesis (20 ECTS credits). The thesis should be supervised and accepted by one professor at the home university and one professor at the host university. After the study abroad phase the host university will send a complete transcript of records to the home university. The Pforzheim MBA IM will be awarded for 120 ECTS credits. Learn more
