Areas of Expertise
Dr. Gould is an interdisciplinary academic practitioner who has served in senior positions
in law, business, government, trade, global education and the Olympic Movement. While
representing the US President’s Export Council in the 21 member Asia Pacific Economic
Cooperation (APEC) system, Dr. Gould designed and directed the APEC Voices of the
Future program. Now in its 24th year, APEC Voices brings hundreds of students and
educators from universities around the Pacific Rim to the annual APEC Economic Leaders
meeting and APEC CEO Summit. Headquartered in Singapore, APEC Voices is the official
engaged learning program of APEC and has received numerous awards for educational
diplomacy.
