Upcoming Performances
The Department of Music presents a full schedule of in-person public performances
each academic year, both free and ticketed, and many of which are also livestreamed.
Ticketed events are available for sale at the BCPA Box office website, or by stopping in person or calling the BCPA Box Office at 307-766-6666 during normal
business hours (Monday -Friday, 12:00 -6:00p.m. and one hour before performances)
Each scheduled livestreamed concert will be assigned its own link below, which you
may access from your computer or other device. Recorded videos will be accessible
from this page as they become available.

Performers include Dr. Jiwon Han, piano; Dr. Nicole Riner, flute; Jennifer Stucki,
oboe; Dr. Blake McGee, clarinet; and Richard Turner, bassoon.
UW Wind Symphony: "Fun and Games"

Join Interim Director of Bands, Ogechi Ukazu in her first appearance with the UW Wind
Symphony for a program of energetic and exuberant works by Leonard Bernstein, Bela
Bartok, Percy Grainger, and John Williams.
Gonzalo Teppa Quintet

Join the Gonzalo Teppa Qunintet for a public, ticketed concert Monday evening. The
quinet will also offer Jazz Studio Class at 5:00 p.m. in BCPA Room 1050.

Join UW Collegiate Chorale, Bel Canto, Singing Statesmen, Civic Chorus, Contemporary
Singers, and Happy Jacks, conducted by Brian Murray and O'Neil Jones, for a combined
concert showcasing UW Choirs.
Western Bass
Saturday, October 13, 4:30 p.m., BCPA Concert Hall
Join us for Western Bass, the inaugural tenor-bass choral event at the University
of Wyoming. Hear from the Singing Statesmen as well as tenors and basses from Laramie
HS and Laramie MS.
Han-Fadial Faculty Recital
Thursday, October 19, 7:30 p.m., BCPA Recital Hall
Join violinist John Fadial and pianist Jiwon Han for an evening of great music by
Viennese composers including Maria von Paradise and Richard Strauss.
Melissa Keeling, Flutist Guest Residency
Friday, October 20, 7:30 p.m., BCPA Recital Hall
Solo looping artist, improviser, and electric flutist Melissa Keeling will be in residence
10/20 with a workshop open to all musicians at 4:00pm followed by a recital at 7:30pm
in BCPA Recital Hall. Both events are free and open to the public.
Dr. Keeling's workshop presents an imaginative and eclectic set of music using electronic
effects and computer software paired with contemporary flute techniques. Musical selections
in her evening recital range from covers of classic rock tunes to modern classical
repertoire to original compositions.
