UW Trustees Approve Personnel Items

University of Wyoming trustees approved the following personnel items at their meeting Thursday:

Curtis A. Kramer rehired as College of Business associate dean.

College of Agriculture
Anowarul Islam, Department of Plant Sciences, assistant professor. Islam received a B.S. (1990) in agriculture from Bangladesh Agricultural University, an M.S. (1996) in
agronomy-soil fertility from the Institute of Postgraduate Studies in Agriculture, Bangladesh, and a Ph.D. (2003) in agronomy from the University of Sydney-Australia.

College of Business
Rohit Singh, Department of Accounting, instructor. Rohit received a B.S. (1996) in commerce from the University of Delhi, India, an M.S. (2005) in accounting and a Ph.D. (2008) in management from the University of Arizona.

College of Education
Timothy F. Slater, professor. Slater received a B.S. (1989) in physical science from Kansas State University, an M.S. (1991) in physics from Clemson University, and a Ph.D. (1993) in geological sciences from the University of South Carolina.

Clifford P. Harbour, Department of Adult Learning and Technology, associate professor. Harbour received a B.A. (1978) in philosophy from Rhode Island College, a J.D. (1980) from Ohio Northern University, an M.A. (1987) in philosophy from Duke University, and an Ed.D (1999) from North Carolina State University-Raleigh.

College of Health Sciences
Teresa A. Ukrainetz, Division of Communication Disorders, director.
Walter G. Saunders, Division of Medical Education and Public Health, director.
Dean Bartholomew, Whitney A. Buckley, Robert Monger, Family Practice Residency Program-Cheyenne, all clinical assistant professors.
Frederick J. Dreiling, WWAMI Medical Education Program, clinical assistant professor; Matthew D. McEchron, WWAMI Medical Education Program, associate professor.

University Libraries
Janet E. Dombrowski, assistant librarian. Dombrowski received a B.S. (1981) in finance from the University of Colorado-Boulder, and an M.L.S. (1991) from the University of Maryland-College Park.

Cassandra M. Kvenild, Coe Reference Department, assistant librarian. Kvenild received a B.A. (1996) in English at the University of Wyoming, and an M.L.I.S. (2000) from
the University of Washington-Seattle.

Academic Affairs
Laura Uglean, American Heritage Center, assistant research scientist. Uglean received a B.A. (2004) from Colorado State University, and an M.L.S. (2007) from Simmons College-Boston.

Kay A. Persichette as College of Education dean.
