Grammy Award-nominated DJ and house music producer Chris Lake will perform at the University of Wyoming Wednesday, Oct. 24, at 8 p.m. Lake is best known for “upbeat mixes and club smashes.”
The performance in The Gardens, located in the lower level of the Wyoming Union, is free and open to the public.
Lake, a United Kingdom native, introduced his music to the U.S. in 2010. Since then, Lake has topped multiple Billboard dance charts, created a platinum record, received a Grammy nomination, created a record label and received a “Midas Touch” award for his support of emerging talent.
He is known for his “stream of funky, ebullient and majestic club smashes,” including “Chest,” “Stranger,” “Piano Hand” with Chris Lorenzo, “Stomper” with Anna Lunoe, plus remixes of Jess Glynne’s “Hold My Hand” and Calvin Harris and the Disciples’ “How Deep is Your Love.” His OWSLA release of “I Want You” has reached more than 3 million views.
