Mike Simonton, managing director-head of U.S. Corporates-Fitch Ratings, will speak to University of Wyoming Master of Business Administration (MBA) students Friday, Nov. 2, in the College of Business.
Simonton’s discussion is part of the MBA Program’s Executive Speaker Series this semester.
An experienced credit analyst, Simonton brings knowledge from a variety of industry conditions, growth profiles and cyclical attributes to his presentation. Simonton has managed several sector teams for Fitch Ratings and the organization’s leveraged finance efforts in the U.S.
The MBA Program’s Executive Speaker Series allows UW MBA students the opportunity to participate in roundtable discussions and receive real-world learning experiences from a group of diverse industry leaders, including CEOs, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, financial service representatives and sports industry executives. This experiential learning opportunity provides UW MBA students with a strong network of individuals who share their business wisdom and open the door to many employment and mentorship opportunities, says Tanner Parmely, UW MBA Program coordinator.
