University of Wyoming Calendar for Feb. 10-16

These are among the activities scheduled Feb. 10-16 at the University of Wyoming:

Monday, Feb. 10, 3:30 p.m. -- Bill Barron, regional coordinator for Citizens’ Climate Lobby, will discuss local, state and regional actions related to climate change legislation and the Washington, D.C., political landscape. His talk is part of the UW Department of Economics Guest Speaker Seminar Series. It will take place in the UW College of Business Building, Room 21. Free.

Monday, Feb. 10, 5 p.m. -- As part of Black History Month events at UW, “A Reconsideration of the Legacy of Rosa Parks” will be presented in Coe Library, Room 123. Free.

Tuesday, Feb. 11, 7 p.m. -- The UW Harry C. Vaughan Planetarium presents “Our Wyoming Sky” in the Physical Sciences Building basement. Tickets cost $3 for students and $5 for nonstudents. Wednesday, Feb. 12, 9-11:30 a.m. -- The Wyoming Center on Aging, based at UW, will host Healthy U, a health workshop for people managing chronic pain and their friends, family and caregivers.
