Members of the University of Wyoming community are reminded to continue following guidelines on social distancing to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus COVID-19 on campus and in the community.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, that includes staying at least 6 feet away from other people; not gathering in groups; staying out of crowded places; and avoiding mass gatherings.
In Wyoming, Gov. Mark Gordon has issued an order prohibiting indoor or outdoor gatherings of 10 people or more, with few exceptions.
The governor also has directed that any individual coming or returning to Wyoming from another state or country must self-quarantine for at least 14 days, with few exceptions.
For more information, visit the university’s website at www.uwyo.edu/campus-return; call the UW COVID-19 incident command center at 766-COVD (2683); or email COVID19@uwyo.edu.
