With most University of Wyoming employees working remotely from home, staying healthy and active is essential for individual well-being, according to Lena Newlin, the UW Half Acre Recreation and Wellness Center assistant director.
In response to concerns about the novel coronavirus COVID-19, Half Acre Recreation and Wellness Center is closed until further notice.
“However, we are doing our part in providing virtual programming and resources to help the campus community stay active and well from any location,” Newlin says.
Newlin says videos and additional resources will be added throughout the spring semester, and can be found at www.uwyo.edu/rec/virtual-rec.html.
