The University of Wyoming’s Education Abroad is sponsoring a virtual education abroad fair today (Monday) through Friday, Sept. 18.
Live Zoom sessions with five overseas partners, panel presentations with providers and other valuable information are available to interested UW students.
For necessary information, visit the Education Abroad events page for a full schedule of events and to access study abroad resources.
“The first virtual UWyo Abroad Fair is a way for Education Abroad to engage with prospective students and the UW community in a virtual way,” says Shelley Jewell, UW Education Abroad director. “Students can begin planning for their future education abroad programs, and the fair is a way to demonstrate that UW’s Education Abroad program is still an option for students despite the current uncertainty of the world.”
The virtual fair includes:
-- Daily Zoom sessions focused on frequently asked questions and specific opportunities.
-- Five sessions from the exchange partners overseas program.
-- Question-and-answer sessions with partner providers.
-- Easy-to-navigate virtual tables with necessary information about program options, such as study, research, volunteer, student-teaching and faculty-directed programs.
