A University of Wyoming discussion on current research that demonstrates the way students move from majoring in the humanities to employment will be presented virtually Wednesday, March 17.
Scott Muir, project director for the study from the National Humanities Alliance, will discuss “Careers for Humanities Majors” from 3-4 p.m. The program can be accessed at https://uwyo.zoom.us/J/95447879143, using the passcode: careers.
Muir will highlight steps students can take to communicate individual skills to potential employers, and make the most of job opportunities in spite of a challenging job market.
UW’s Career Champions program sponsors the program. Career Champions is a training program for faculty and staff that is geared toward developing key individuals across campus who are “knowledge disseminators” about enhancing career opportunities and helping students become career ready.
