Starting today (Monday), the only vehicle access to the University of Wyoming’s interior part of campus, which includes Prexy’s Pasture, will be via the Berry Biodiversity Conservation Center gate.
Vehicle access to the core campus is restricted to enhance pedestrian and bicycle safety for UW students, faculty and staff members, and visitors. Accommodations have been made to provide access to emergency vehicles.
UW employees and vendors who have valid business reasons for driving on the core campus must now pass through the controlled entrance, located at 9 1/2 Lewis St., using an authorized WyoOne ID card. The Berry Center gate has been inaccessible for the past two years because of construction of the Science Initiative Building and corridor improvements to Lewis Street.
