Listening Session Friday on UW Masters Degree in Family and Consumer Sciences

A listening session is scheduled Friday, Sept. 17, at 11 a.m. to receive comment on the University of Wyoming’s proposal to eliminate the master’s degree in family and consumer sciences.

This degree is among a number of low-enrollment programs identified for elimination as part of a multifaceted academic restructuring plan for the university. Under UW Regulation 2-13, which governs program discontinuance, reorganization, consolidation or reduction, the administration is accepting input on the plan before presenting a final proposal to the UW Board of Trustees.
