Listening Session Thursday on UW Masters Degree Programs Eyed for Elimination

A listening session is scheduled Thursday, Sept. 16, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. to receive comment on the University of Wyoming’s proposal to eliminate master’s degrees in political science and international studies.

Those degrees are among a number of low-enrollment programs identified for elimination as part of a multifaceted academic restructuring plan for the university. Under UW Regulation 2-13, which governs program discontinuance, reorganization, consolidation or reduction, the administration is accepting input on the plan before presenting a final proposal to the UW Board of Trustees.
