UW Health Sciences Dean Finalists to Visit This Week

Finalists for the position of dean of the College of Health Sciences at the University of Wyoming have been identified, and they are scheduled to give public presentations at UW beginning Tuesday, March 22.

The candidates are Marketa Marvanova, dean of the Skaggs School of Pharmacy at the University of Montana, and Jacob Warren, director of the Center for Rural Health and Health Disparities at the Mercer University School of Medicine. A third candidate has requested to be removed from consideration.

Each candidate will be on campus for a full day and a half of engagement, beginning Tuesday for the first candidate and ending Friday, March 25. These visits will include public presentations in which the campus community can participate in person or virtually.

Marvanova’s public presentation is Tuesday from 3-3:30 p.m., followed by 30 minutes for questions and answers. The presentation will be held in Room 138 of the Berry Biodiversity Conservation Center and via WyoCast. To learn more about her, go here.
