A Sheridan County band opens the free public Summer Concert Series Wednesday, June 1, at the University of Wyoming.
The Dugan Irby Band will perform from 11:45 a.m.-1 p.m. on Simpson Plaza. The band’s music is described as modern Americana that blends a variety of styles. The trio is composed of Titus Brown, drums, percussion and vocals; Dugan Irby, vocals, guitar and writing; and Rod Jost, bass, sound and management.
The Summer Concert Series features a different band each Wednesday in June and July -- except for June 22 and July 6. Lunch will be available to purchase for $9.
UW’s 7220 Entertainment sponsors the seven concerts this summer.
The rest of the Summer Concert Series lineup is:
-- June 8: Kaspen Haley.
-- June 15: Andy Wheelock Band.
-- June 29: Stay Awhile.
-- July 13: The Unknown Knowns.
-- July 20: Wynona.
-- July 27: Tierney Brynn.
