Student Orgs Summit Set Sept. 24 at UW

University of Wyoming students interested in developing their leadership skills are invited to attend the annual Student Orgs Summit Saturday, Sept. 24. 

The summit will take place from 10 a.m.-3:05 p.m. at the UW College of Business Building. Student Orgs and Entertainment, a unit of UW’s Center for Student Involvement and Leadership, sponsors the event. To register for the free summit, go to https://bit.ly/3QEBOR7. 

“This is a great leadership development opportunity for both new and returning student organization officers, a group’s general membership or any student interested in leadership development,” says Gilbert Falcon, Student Orgs coordinator. 

The summit will cover foundational topics such as event planning basics, risk management elements and marketing. It also will examine leadership development topics, including promoting a culture of care within student organizations, understanding lived experiences and conflict resolution strategies.
