For small-business owners in Wyoming, trademarks are an important part of marketing their companies, as trademarks allow customers to recognize their businesses and products.
Anne Kuipers will dig into the world of trademarks during a Wyoming Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network business fitness webinar titled “Introduction to Trademarks” Thursday, Nov. 3, from 2-3 p.m. Small-business owners will learn more about what trademarks are; how they function; and what is required to register them at the state and federal levels. To register, go here. Registration is free.
Kuipers is the Patent and Trademark Resource Center representative for Wyoming. She also is the state documents librarian at the Wyoming State Library.
For more information, call Maureen Johnson, CARES Act recovery program manager for the Wyoming SBDC Network, at (307) 343-0925 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Wyoming SBDC Network offers business expertise to help Wyoming residents think about, launch, grow, reinvent or exit their business. The Wyoming SBDC Network is hosted by the University of Wyoming with state funds from the Wyoming Business Council and funded, in part, through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration.
