Nominations Accepted for UW Staff Awards

The University of Wyoming’s Staff Senate is seeking nominations for awards to be presented during Staff Recognition Day. The deadline for nominations is at 9 a.m. Saturday, March 11.

Award winners will be announced during Staff Recognition Day Thursday, April 13, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the UW Conference Center. The annual event honors UW’s hard-working staff and provides an opportunity to demonstrate how much staff members are appreciated for all they do.

Two hours of release time will be granted to staff members to attend the event. The scheduling of release time should be a collaborative discussion between employee and supervisor to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the unit.
