The University of Wyoming College of Business has appointed Justine Tydings as the new director of the Peter M. and Paula Green Johnson Student Success Center.
Tydings, known for her significant contributions in streamlining the graduate admissions process and the successful restructuring of UW’s Master of Business Administration curriculum, will assume her role May 22.
“Tydings is a proven advocate for student success with a track record of tangible achievements,” says Scott Beaulier, dean of the College of Business. “Her appointment reaffirms our commitment to fostering an environment that promotes both personal and professional growth for our students.”
As a seasoned member of the College of Business, Tydings has been instrumental in enhancing student engagement and enrollment. Over the past three years, she has overseen a 20 percent increase in professional and graduate program enrollment due to her innovative approach to the admissions process. Her role in redesigning the MBA curriculum to meet market demands and needs has been pivotal in maintaining the college’s relevancy and competitiveness.
“The Green Johnson Student Success Center is already a model of student services we offer to our College of Business students. I look forward to only enhancing this center and its offerings to our students,” Tydings says. “The people in this center are the lifeblood of our college, and I feel honored to be a part of this team in our mission to serve the students.”
Before joining the UW College of Business, Tydings received her Bachelor of Science in biology from Eastern New Mexico University in 2011 and earned her Master of Science in sports and fitness administration from Missouri Western State University in 2015.
In her new role, Tydings will continue to enhance the student experience at the Green Johnson Student Success Center and further elevate the center’s impact on student success.
