UW and Wyoming Community Navigator Program to Host Facebook Ad Campaign Webinar June 9

Small-business owners can learn how to devise successful advertising campaigns on Facebook Friday, June 9.

Liz Jamieson will present a Wyoming Community Navigator Program (CNP) webinar titled “Creating Successful Ad Campaigns on Facebook, Session 1: How to Prep for a Successful Facebook Ad Campaign” from 11 a.m.-noon. To register, go here. Registration is free.

The Wyoming CNP, through the Wyoming Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network at the University of Wyoming, provides small-business resources and assistance for traditionally underserved entrepreneurs throughout Wyoming.

In session one of this two-part series, small-business owners will learn each of the elements they need to put together to create and run a successful advertising campaign on Facebook. Jamieson will discuss what raw materials participants need to put together ahead of time to assemble their ad campaigns quickly.  

Participants will have one week to create or gather these materials before reconvening for the second part of the online webinar Friday, June 16, from 11 a.m.-noon.

Jamieson has been coaching, facilitating and training in a variety of environments for decades, including as a Washington SBDC certified business adviser; business coach and program director for a Small Business Administration Women’s Business Center; and as manager of corporate training and continuing education for a technical college. 

She owned a website design and development firm for many years, where she coached entrepreneurs in branding, sales and marketing. There, she worked on the online presence, collateral and copy for over 100 different small businesses. To build her business, she cold-called entire chamber of commerce directories. Jamieson’s strengths are in technical online marketing, loan packaging, business planning and development, and social media.
