UW and Wyoming Community Navigator Program to Host Facebook Ad Webinar June 16

Small-business owners can continue to learn how to devise successful advertising campaigns on Facebook Friday, June 16.

Liz Jamieson will present a Wyoming Community Navigator Program (CNP) webinar titled “Creating Successful Ad Campaigns on Facebook, Session 2: How to Build Your Campaign, Ad Set and Ad on Facebook” from 11 a.m.-noon. To register, go here. Registration is free.

The Wyoming CNP, through the Wyoming Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network at the University of Wyoming, provides small-business resources and assistance for traditionally underserved entrepreneurs throughout Wyoming.

Session two of this two-part series will be conducted in a workshop-style format. Jamieson will walk participants through the Facebook Ads Manager tool; help them build their ad campaigns and advertising sets, including custom audiences; and design the actual Facebook ads. If time allows, Jamieson will discuss split testing on Facebook.

Jamieson has been coaching, facilitating and training in a variety of environments for decades, including as a Washington SBDC certified business adviser; business coach and program director for a Small Business Administration Women’s Business Center; and as manager of corporate training and continuing education for a technical college. 

She owned a website design and development firm for many years, where she coached entrepreneurs in branding, sales and marketing. There, she worked on the online presence, collateral and copy for over 100 different small businesses. To build her business, she cold-called entire chamber of commerce directories. Jamieson’s strengths are in technical online marketing, loan packaging, business planning and development, and social media.
