UW Offers Students Discounted Tickets to Natasha Bedingfield Concert

The University of Wyoming’s Buchanan Center Special Events will hold a back-to-school flash sale for UW students to purchase tickets to the Natasha Bedingfield concert Friday, Sept. 1.

UW students can purchase $20 tickets Wednesday and Thursday, Aug. 30-31, between noon-6 p.m. at the Buchanan Center for the Performing Arts box office. Students must present their student ID to receive the discounted price. Each student may purchase up to two tickets.

Regular-sale tickets are still available to purchase. Tickets are tiered at $25, $32 and $40, plus a nominal processing fee. Meet-and-greet passes also are available for members of the public and students to purchase at $50 each. Bedingfield, a multiplatinum singer-songwriter, will perform at 8 p.m. in the UW College of Arts and Sciences auditorium. Opening for Bedingfield at 7 p.m. will be country pop artist Jamie Hansen, a UW alumna from Laramie.

The Grammy-nominated artist made her solo debut in 2004 with “Unwritten.” She has five albums under her belt, over 14 million albums sold and a diverse set of collaborations with artists such as Nicki Minaj, Big Sean, Sean Kingston, Brandy, Rascal Flatts, Lifehouse and Lang Lang.

Bedingfield’s hits “Unwritten,” “Pocketful of Sunshine,” “These Words,” “Single,” “Soulmate” and “Love Like This” have topped international charts, and more than 20 of her songs have been used in films.
