UW Parking Permits Now Available for Commuting Students to Purchase

University of Wyoming parking permits for the 2023-24 academic year are now available for students living off campus to purchase. Permits are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

Commuting students are eligible to purchase the following permits:

-- Gold: This permit allows parking in the Ivinson Parking Garage as well as in Orange Zone 202, and Red and Purple zones.

-- Brown Zone 101: This permit allows parking in Brown Zone 101, located at the corner of 12th and Bradley streets, as well as Orange Zone 202, and Red and Purple zones.

-- Brown Zone 104: This permit allows parking in Brown Zone 104, located along Bradley Street between 13th and 14th streets, as well as Orange Zone 202, and Red and Purple zones.

-- Brown Zone 106: This permit allows parking in Brown Zone 106, located on 15th and Bradley streets, as well as Orange Zone 202, and Red and Purple zones.

-- Orange Zone 202: This permit allows parking in Orange Zone 202, which consists of several parking lots surrounding the College of Law Building, the Buchanan Center for the Performing Arts and the Corbett Building, as well as Red and Purple zones.

-- Red: This permit allows parking in all Red zones, which consist of several parking lots surrounding the Animal Science/Molecular Biology Complex, the Visual Arts Building, the Centennial Complex and the Arena-Auditorium, as well as Purple zones.

-- Purple: This permit allows parking in the Purple zone that is located along 30th Street.

To view parking locations, find permit pricing and order a permit online, go to www.uwyo.edu/tps. Online permit purchase options are available via credit card. Cash and check payments can be accepted at the UW Transportation Services office, located at 1602 E. Spring Creek Drive in the South Express parking lot.

Permit holders no longer need to display physical permits on their windshields. UW Transportation Services has fully implemented license plate recognition for parking enforcement. For more information, go to www.uwyo.edu/tps/parking/enforcement.html.

Commuting students also can use UWYO Roundup, UW’s transit system, to get to and around campus. To view fixed-route and on-demand transit options, go to www.uwyo.edu/tps/transit/index.html

Riders are encouraged to download the TransLoc app to track buses in real time, view the most up-to-date bus routes and hours of service, and get system announcements.
