UW’s Wyoming SBDC Network Podcast Interviews CyberWyoming Director and Unlocked Labs Co-Founder

The Wyoming Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network podcast recently featured the director of CyberWyoming as well as the co-founder of Unlocked Labs. The podcast features small-business success stories, educational topics from experts and interviews with staff and leadership. Episodes are typically released twice per month.

The Wyoming SBDC Network offers business expertise to help Wyoming residents think about, launch, grow, reinvent or exit their business. The Wyoming SBDC Network is hosted by the University of Wyoming with state funds from the Wyoming Business Council and funded, in part, through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration.

The Wyoming SBDC Network podcast released two episodes in October featuring Laura Baker, executive director of CyberWyoming, and Christoph Geisler, co-founder of Unlocked Labs.

In an episode launched Oct. 9, Baker joined the podcast to talk about how the organization will participate in the implementation of the new cybersecurity grant awarded to the Wyoming SBDC Network. CyberWyoming is a 501(c)6 nonprofit organization that provides training and consulting to businesses, nonprofits, technical professionals and business advisers in Wyoming.

Baker also shared some concrete tips on how your business and personal data can be more cyber-secure today.

In an episode launched Oct. 24, the podcast featured a conversation with Geisler, whose business is based in Laramie. Unlocked Labs was founded in 2020 with the mission to deliver effective and targeted probiotics. Geisler discussed how he has taken his innovation from idea to business endeavor -- and everything involved with that process -- as well as his experience working with the Wyoming SBIR/STTR Initiative.
