Small-business owners will have an opportunity to learn about writing capability statements with a “wow” factor for government contractors Tuesday, March 5.
Janean Forsyth and Sarah Mikesell Growney will discuss the subject during a Wyoming APEX Accelerator “Lunch and Learn” webinar titled “The Wow Factor: Writing a Capability Statement That Wows” from noon-1 p.m. To register, go here. Registration is free.
Wyoming APEX Accelerator, part of the Wyoming Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network housed at the University of Wyoming, is the state’s expert in government contracting assistance.
During the webinar, small-business owners will learn a capability statement is a company’s one-page resumé in the world of government contracting. A capability statement can be effectively used in many ways, but what will the contracting officers see and learn when they look at it? This webinar will teach small-business owners to carefully and “wowfully” craft a capability statement that will give them a leg up in their pursuit of government contracts.
Forsyth is the program manager for Wyoming APEX Accelerator, and Mikesell Growney is a procurement adviser for Wyoming APEX Accelerator.
