Priority Scheduling for Wyoming Union Begins March 11

Priority scheduling is quickly approaching to reserve space in the Wyoming Union for the 2024-25 academic year at the University of Wyoming.

This process begins Monday, March 11, and continues through Friday, April 5, with Weeks 1 and 2 combined, a change to last year’s process.

All events and add-ons will be charged in accordance with the 2025 fiscal year business fee book. UW departments will be assessed a $25-per-hour set-up and tear-down fee for events held in the ballrooms, Family Room or any space that requires a set-up that is not the standard (Most events can be set up and torn down within one hour).

Because the Wyoming Union Events Office is funded by student fees, student organizations are not charged for space use unless they are charging admission fees for their events. External organization events will be charged 50 percent deposits at the time the reservation is made and confirmed.

Requests are not finalized until a confirmation email is received after Week 4 of priority scheduling. After the confirmation is received, a review is recommended to ensure everything is correct. When submitting a request, providing alternative dates and locations in case the first request cannot be accommodated is recommended.

The reservation request form may be found here.
