In an effort to accelerate construction on 15th Street through the University of Wyoming campus, UW Operations has made some adjustments to the street closure schedule.
Starting Friday, May 17, 15th Street will be closed from Grand Avenue all the way north to Lewis Street. There will be a temporary detour access into Fraternity Mall and a revised pedestrian detour route to cross 15th Street.
The goal is to reopen that corridor by the start of fall semester.
The construction involves a significant reconfiguration of the 15th Street corridor for vehicular and pedestrian traffic and utility infrastructure work to support UW’s student housing project.
