UW and Wyoming SBDC Network to Host Virtual ‘Table Time’ Work Session Oct. 31

Small-business owners will have the opportunity to get motivated to tackle those work tasks they have been avoiding or focus on complex projects to better manage their businesses Thursday, Oct. 31.

Devan Costa-Cargill will lead a Wyoming Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network virtual workshop titled “Table Time: A Virtual Work Session Series” from 8:30-10 a.m. To register, go here. Registration is free.

The Wyoming SBDC Network offers business expertise to help Wyoming residents think about, launch, grow, reinvent or exit their business. The Wyoming SBDC Network is hosted by the University of Wyoming with state funds from the Wyoming Business Council and funded, in part, through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).

The co-working session is designed to help small-business owners commit to focused work time and address those tasks they have been putting off.

The session will include a quick introduction; a chance for small-business owners to share what they are working on and create a few goals for the session; and focused work time.

Costa-Cargill is the Wyoming SBDC Network regional director for Big Horn, Hot Springs, Park and Washakie counties. She launched her consulting career in the public school system, specifically in special education. For the past 10 years, Costa-Cargill has operated her own small business, providing consultation and enrichment to families and early educators. Her work with the Wyoming SBDC Network began in April 2021, advising small-business startups through the first important steps of their journey.

Workshop attendees also will have an opportunity to meet with Costa-Cargill in the breakout room for support as needed.
