UW Announces Holiday Closures

Most University of Wyoming business and administrative offices will be closed Tuesday, Dec. 24-Wednesday, Jan. 1, for the Christmas and New Year’s holidays as well as winter closure.

Normal business hours will resume Thursday, Jan. 2.

Coe Library will close at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 23, and it will reopen at 8 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 2. The Geology Library will close at noon Monday, Dec. 23, and it will reopen at 8 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 2. The Herbarium Library will be closed at 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13, and it will reopen at 8 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 2. The Learning Resource Center will be closed starting at 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20, and it will reopen at 8 a.m. Monday, Jan. 6. Half Acre Recreation and Wellness Center will close at 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 23. It will reopen Thursday, Jan. 2, at 7 a.m. For more information and to view a schedule, go to www.uwyo.edu/rec/facility-hours-and-information.

The UW Art Museum will close beginning Sunday, Dec. 22, and will reopen Thursday, Jan. 2. Normal hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Thursday hours are extended to 7 p.m.

The UW Geological Museum will start winter hours -- 11 a.m.-2 p.m. beginning (today) Monday, Dec. 16. The museum will be closed Saturday, Dec. 21-Wednesday, Jan. 1. Winter break hours will continue Thursday, Jan. 2-Saturday, Jan. 18. Normal hours -- Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. -- will resume Tuesday, Jan. 21.

UW transit services will be unavailable Tuesday, Dec. 24-Wednesday, Jan. 1. Regular services will resume Thursday, Jan. 2. The SafeRide service is currently unavailable until Tuesday, Jan. 21. For more information and to view a schedule, visit www.uwyo.edu/tps/transit/holiday-schedule.html.
