Charles Hoskinson, the co-founder and CEO of Input Output Global (IOG), will be the featured speaker to kick off the first Wyoming Blockchain Stampede Speaker Series program Friday, Jan. 31, at the University of Wyoming. He will discuss the future of blockchain technology, digital assets and the opportunities they present for the state of Wyoming.
Hoskinson will speak from 3:30-5 p.m. in the UW College of Business Scarlett Auditorium in Laramie. This free, public event is presented by the UW Center for Blockchain and Digital Innovation (CBDI).
As the visionary behind Cardano and a co-founder of Ethereum, Hoskinson will dive into such topics as the future of Cardano and its use as a payment system, cryptocurrency, digital asset innovation, blockchain technology and the partnership with UW and the state of Wyoming that has positioned Wyoming as a leader in blockchain adoption and innovation technologies globally.
“Charles is one of the most influential voices in the crypto world,” says Steve Lupien, the CBDI Ada Lovelace Director. “He has a been a supporter of objective blockchain education at UW, including the establishment of the Ada Lovelace endowed directorship for the CBDI and IOG’s title sponsorship for the annual Wyoming Blockchain Stampede.”
