Small-business owners will have the opportunity to unlock the secrets of financial success during a four-part “Profit Mastery” series during February.
Rob Condie will lead the Wyoming Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network webinar series -- based on the acclaimed Profit Mastery program -- from 1-5 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4; Thursday, Feb. 6; Tuesday, Feb. 11; and Thursday, Feb. 13. To register, go here. The cost is $195. A digital book link will be provided before the start of the series.
The Wyoming SBDC Network offers business expertise to help Wyoming residents think about, launch, grow, reinvent or exit their business. The Wyoming SBDC Network is hosted by the University of Wyoming with state funds from the Wyoming Business Council and funded, in part, through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration.
This in-depth series will equip small-business owners with the knowledge and tools to improve their financial literacy; analyze their business performance; and make strategic decisions that drive growth and profitability.
Areas to be covered are:
-- Understand key financial statements. Small-business owners will learn how to interpret critical documents, including their income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements.
-- Develop a realistic budget and financial forecast. Small-business owners will gain the skills to predict future financial performance and make informed financial goals.
-- Master the power of financial ratios. Small-business owners will discover how to analyze their businesses’ health through key financial metrics.
-- Leverage effective pricing strategies. Small-business owners will learn how to implement strategies for maximizing profit margins and increasing sales.
Condie is the Wyoming SBDC Network regional director for Lincoln, Sublette, Sweetwater and Uinta counties, and he is a former banking industry professional.
