Liz Bohannon to Speak in UW College of Business Speaker Series

The University of Wyoming College of Business will welcome Liz Bohannon Tuesday, Feb. 25, as the spring guest in the College of Business Speaker Series.

Bohannon is the 11th speaker in the ongoing series, which showcases influential voices from various fields.

The event will be from 12:30-1:45 p.m. in the college’s Scarlett Auditorium, followed by a book signing. Bohannon’s bestselling book, “Beginner’s Pluck: Build Your Life of Purpose and Impact Now,” will be available for purchase and signing at the event.

A Forbes Top 20 Public Speaker, Bohannon has been featured in Vogue, Redbook, O Magazine Inc., Fortune and other major outlets. She was named a Top Three Transformation Leader by John Maxwell and recognized by Bloomberg Businessweek as a leading social entrepreneur.

Bohannon is known for her “Community Quotient” approach, which emphasizes connection, empathy and collaboration in the workplace. Her leadership in fostering community-centered organizations has earned B Corp honors.

In “Beginner’s Pluck,” Bohannon outlines strategies for cultivating authentic relationships both professionally and personally. She expands on these topics in her "Plucking Up" podcast, where she interviews leaders about transforming setbacks into opportunities.

At the event, Bohannon will offer practical tips for developing workplace cultures built on genuine connection and collaboration. The event is free and open to the public.
