Back by popular demand, “Maker Match Night,” a speed dating experience, returns at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 4, at the University of Wyoming Innovation Network (UWIN) Make-IT Lab, located in the Information Technology Center.
The event is only for UW students, and participants must be at least 18 years of age. Registration is now open and is limited to 40 participants. Sign-up registrations are required to secure a spot at uwyo.libcal.com/event/14000233 .
Match creative projects for the event include:
-- Custom mini-planters: Participants will design a planter and pot a houseplant, air plant or cactus.
-- Spring-themed cards with dried flowers: Students will make a decorative card with pressed flowers.
-- Acrylic sun catchers: Students will create a decorative piece to brighten up any window.
A live DJ will provide music, and participants are encouraged to mingle before and after speed-dating rounds.
