Beginning today (Thursday) and each Thursday from 8-11 p.m., University of Wyoming students can create something unique during a GeekOUT! program and enjoy free refreshments at Coe Library’s Student Innovation Center.

“Come join us each week where all of the materials and supplies needed for a fun workshop are provided,” says Jane Crayton, Makerspace coordinator. “Coe Student Innovation Center techs will guide you through a hands-on maker project that you get to take home.”

During GeekOUT, students can explore and use the center’s machines and tools for personal projects.

“We recommend reserving any machine a student would like to use in advance,” Crayton says. “While signup is not required, it is encouraged and provides a helpful reminder and guarantees a spot.”

Drop-ins are welcome if space allows, but all participants must sign in upon arrival, she adds.
