Makerspace Hosts St. Patrick’s Day Program for UW Students

A special St. Patrick’s Day Makerspace Celebrate and Create program is planned from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, in the University of Wyoming Innovation Network (UWIN) Make-IT Lab, located in the Information Technology Center.

The event is open to UW students, and registration is required. Seating is limited to 32 participants.

Participants will create a shamrock wreath to decorate a home, or a laser-cut door hanger or other themed projects.

“We’ll provide premade templates for easy crafting, or you can customize your designs to make them truly unique,” says Jane Crayton, Makerspace coordinator. “Whether you’re a seasoned crafter or just trying something new, we’ve got the tools and ideas to make your projects shine.”

Projects are subject to change, depending on material availability, and each workshop will offer at least three activities for students to choose.
