A “Celebrate and Create for Earth Day” Makerspace workshop is planned from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, in the University of Wyoming Innovation Network (UWIN) Make-IT Lab, located in the Information Technology Center atrium.
The event is open to UW students, and registration is required. Seating is limited to 20 participants, and snacks and light refreshments will be provided.
“Join us for an evening of hands-on creativity and eco-friendly projects designed to support wildlife and sustainability,” says Jane Crayton, Makerspace coordinator. “We will have ready-to-use templates and guides -- or bring your own ideas and our team will help you bring them to life. It is a great way to unwind, get creative and do something kind for the planet.”
Participants can create hummingbird feeders, honeybee feeders, native bee houses or glowing fairy garden jars. Projects are subject to change, depending on material availability.
For more information and to register, go here or email Crayton at jcrayton@uwyo.edu.
