The University of Wyoming’s Haub School of Environment and Natural Resources is expanding access to its interdisciplinary graduate offerings with the launch of a fully online Master of Science in environment, natural resources and society (ENRS).
Designed to meet the needs of working professionals and career changers, the new online format provides a flexible path to advanced education without requiring relocation.
The ENRS program equips students to lead in the environmental and natural resource sectors through applied learning and real-world engagement. Students gain a strong foundation in leadership, communication and collaborative problem-solving while exploring the complex interactions between human and natural systems.
“This online program expands access to the Haub School’s distinctive, interdisciplinary approach to graduate education in environment and natural resources,” says Temple Stoellinger, associate dean of the Haub School. “We’re excited to make this degree more accessible to professionals who want to advance their careers, strengthen their leadership skills and help solve today’s most urgent natural resources challenges -- all without needing to relocate.”
The ENRS curriculum is grounded in relevance and impact. Through interactive coursework and meaningful projects, students engage with diverse stakeholders, examine real environmental issues and build a versatile skill set for addressing today’s most pressing sustainability challenges.
Applications are now open for the fall 2025 semester.
