The one-hour presentation, followed by 30 minutes of optional networking, aims to connect lab-based professionals, entrepreneurs and support organizations to explore steps for transforming Wyoming’s research discoveries into thriving startups. A panel of experts will lead the conversation, addressing key challenges and opportunities for lab-based ventures in the state.

Panelists include Katie Dongmei Li-Oakey, a professor in the UW Department of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering; Didier Lesueur, CEO at Western Research Institute; Danny Dale, a professor of physics and astronomy and associate dean of the UW College of Engineering and Physical Sciences; and Kristin DiBona, CEO and co-founder of Wyonics, and an adjunct professor in the UW Department of Chemistry.

There will be 30 minutes of optional networking beginning at 1 p.m.
