Entrepreneurs, researchers and small-business owners working in lab-based industries have an opportunity to learn more about lab safety and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards.
IMPACT 307, a University of Wyoming program, will host “Lab Safety and OSHA Requirements” Thursday, April 10, from noon-1 p.m. in Room 104 of the Wyoming Technology Business Center.
This one-hour presentation will feature safety experts sharing insight into chemical hazard communication, waste management and biosafety as they relate to lab-based businesses and UW. Panelists include Kevin Macartney, safety specialist, and Hannah Goodnight, biosafety specialist, both from the UW Safety Office.
