Entrepreneurs, small-business owners and startups are encouraged to come listen to University of Wyoming Business Law Practicum students make presentations on various legal topics that are important for small businesses to know.
IMPACT 307, a UW program, will host a “Startup Lunch and Learn” event titled “Legal Topics for Small Businesses” Thursday, April 30, from 12:15-1:45 p.m. in Room 104 of the Wyoming Technology Business Center.
This event will feature student presentations on the following essential legal topics: contracts crash course, agency law, corporations, LLCs, LLC operating agreements, decentralized autonomous organization LLCs, trademarks for small businesses and business taxation.
IMPACT 307 is UW’s business incubator that supports the growth of startup incubator
clients and webinar attendees. IMPACT 307 is hosting this event as part of its mission
to boost entrepreneurs with resources and knowledge needed to succeed.
The event is free, but an RSVP is required via QR code or here. In-person and webinar attendance options are available. Lunch will be provided by
the UW College of Law for a maximum of 40 in-person guests.
Free parking is available in the two-hour section in the southwest corner of the adjacent
Red Lot or on the street north of the Wyoming Technology Business Center, located
at 1938 E. Harney St.
