UW’s Wyoming APEX Accelerator Hosting Vendor Outreach Event April 30

Small-business owners will have the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of government contracting Wednesday, April 30.

Wyoming APEX Accelerator will be one of the co-hosts for the F.E. Warren Air Force Base-Vendor Outreach event scheduled from noon-4 p.m. in Room 129/130 in the Center for Conference Institutes at Laramie County Community College, located at 1400 E. College Drive in Cheyenne. The event is free.

Wyoming APEX Accelerator, part of the Wyoming Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network housed at the University of Wyoming, is the state’s expert in government contracting assistance.

Government agencies that will attend are the 90th Contracting Squadron, Wyoming District Small Business Administration, Wyoming APEX Accelerator, Wyoming Department of Administration and Information, Wyoming Bureau of Land Management, Wyoming Air National Guard and the General Services Administration.

All partner agencies will be set up at individual tables, and contractor participants will have time to walk around and ask individualized questions.

The event will give small-business owners an introduction to government contracting; small-business and contracting officer panels; F.E. Warren Air Force Base upcoming projects; and one-on-one matchmaking opportunities.
