UW Board of Trustees to Meet May 14-16

The University of Wyoming Board of Trustees will receive reports on a variety of topics during the board’s regular meeting Wednesday-Friday, May 14-16.

The meeting will take place at the Marian H. Rochelle Gateway Center. Public sessions of the board and its committees may be observed by the public at https://wyolinks.uwyo.edu/2025/TrusteesMay25/.

Committees of the board will meet Wednesday in several rooms of the Gateway Center, starting at 8 a.m. Those include an 11-member committee appointed recently to strengthen shared governance at the university -- chaired by members of the Board of Trustees with administrative, faculty, staff and student representation -- whose 8 a.m. meeting is among those that will be livestreamed.

Thursday’s meeting of the full board will begin at 8 a.m. with an executive session. The public session is expected to start at 10:15 a.m.

The board will accept public testimony on any topics at 11:15 a.m. Thursday.

At 7 a.m. Friday, the board is scheduled to tour UW’s new student residence halls and dining center, which are nearing completion.

Another executive session is scheduled at 9 a.m. Friday at the Gateway Center, with the board’s business meeting from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Trustees will participate in UW’s spring graduation and commencement activities Friday afternoon, Saturday and Sunday.

The complete agenda, along with a report that includes background information on agenda items, will be available at www.uwyo.edu/trustees/2025-meeting-agendas-materials-and-minutes/index.html.
