Final Work Taking Place on 15th Street Through UW Campus

Final work is taking place to allow for the reopening of 15th Street through the University of Wyoming campus this summer.

To allow for remaining surface and landscaping work to be completed, vehicle access between Ivinson Avenue and Bradley Street -- including access to Sorority and Fraternity Row -- will be restricted starting Saturday, June 28, through Tuesday, July 15. The work includes creation of a raised median and pedestrian crosswalks in the 15th Street corridor.

Additionally, initial preparatory work for installation of statues will begin within the new roundabouts at the Willett Drive and Ivinson intersections, with completion scheduled for fall.

Fifteenth Street through campus tentatively is scheduled to reopen to the public Tuesday, July 15, in advance of the opening of UW’s new North Residence Hall scheduled Friday, Aug. 15.
